Nomi vs ourdream.ai: Memory or Media?

The short version

Pick Nomi if you want a companion that remembers you and you want to start for free. Pick ourdream.ai if photos, video clips and voice calls matter more to you than the conversation. For most people looking for an AI girlfriend, Nomi is the better choice: stronger memory, free chat with no card, native apps, and a lower yearly price. ourdream.ai wins on media and on written rules, but its dreamcoins run out fast and it says little about memory.

Price

Nomi’s free chat needs no card, so you can judge it before you pay. On the App Store, the Launch Plan is $59.99 a year or $9.99 a month. The Standard plan is $15.99 a month, $39.99 a quarter or $99.99 a year. Videos and requests past the daily limits use Nomi Credits, which start at 40 credits for $4.99.

ourdream.ai costs $9.99 a month if you pay $119.88 for a year, or $19.99 month to month. Free users pay 1 dreamcoin per chat message; subscribers chat free. Media runs on dreamcoins: 2 images for 10 coins, video at 100 coins per 5 seconds, and calls at 50 coins a minute. The homepage FAQ says plans include 1,000 dreamcoins each month, while the help center says the grant arrives on your billing anniversary and does not refresh monthly. Either way, about 20 minutes of calls uses up a full grant.

If you mostly chat, Nomi costs less. If you want lots of media, budget for extra coins on ourdream.ai.

Features

Memory. Nomi keeps short, medium and long-term memory, and the Mind Map shows what it has learned. ourdream.ai says companions remember past chats but does not document how or for how long.

Media. ourdream.ai is built for media: in-chat images, separate image and video generation, narrated voices and voice calls, in realistic or anime styles. Nomi offers selfies, AI video, image art, voice messages and hands-free voice calls, but NSFW selfies may fail.

Customization. On Nomi you write a backstory and preferences and set the look through its image system. On ourdream.ai you pick appearance, personality and voice.

Platforms. Nomi runs on the web, iOS and Android and has an API. ourdream.ai is web only.

Group chats. Nomi lets you put several companions in one chat. ourdream.ai does not list this.

Privacy and trust

ourdream.ai is ahead on written rules. Its safety site lists banned content, and in places where the law demands it, such as the UK or Australia, it runs ID or face checks through Go.cam or AgeVerif. Nomi’s adult rules are in its App Store listing (sexual content or nudity behind in-app controls) but not in its own terms. Nomi takes your age at sign-up and says it may add more checks.

On training, ourdream.ai’s privacy policy lists training AI models as a purpose, and chats go to third-party model providers. Nomi’s policy refers to training archives without a clear answer, and it removes personal data about 28 days after you delete your account.

Refunds are tight on both. Nomi’s payments are non-refundable, with refunds only at its discretion. ourdream.ai refunds nothing once more than a quarter of the plan is used, does not refund monthly plans after coins are spent, and cannot refund crypto. On Trustpilot, Nomi users praise memory and complain about refunds and filters; ourdream.ai’s profile was removed for a guideline breach.

Who should pick which

Choose Nomi if you want a long-running companion, you care most about memory, you use your phone, or you want to try it free before paying. It is the better all-round pick.

Choose ourdream.ai if you mainly want images, video and voice calls from one subscription, and you value a site that publishes its content rules and checks age properly. Go for the yearly plan, keep an eye on your dreamcoin balance, and do not expect deep memory.
