What is Candy AI?

Candy AI is a companion app for adults. You chat with AI characters, and you can also have voice conversations and calls with them. This page looks only at the voice side. You choose a voice for your companion, but Candy does not say how many voices there are or how fast calls respond. It runs in the browser, with no install. A free account gives you limited messages. Paid plans start at $3.99 a month on yearly billing ($47.88). Monthly billing is $9.99 for the first month and $13.99 after that. Each plan comes with 100 tokens a month, and voice is billed from those tokens.

The catch

The 100-token monthly grant is small, and calls draw from it, so the low yearly price can buy less talk time than you expect. The privacy notice says de-identified chats may train its models, and account data is kept for three years after your last activity. The age gate is a self-affirmed 18+ check. The Trustpilot profile was removed for a guideline breach, so there is no review score to go on.

Final verdict

Candy AI voice calls make sense as an extra for people who already like the companion app. As a voice tool on its own, it offers little control, a tight token budget and weak privacy terms. If calls are the main reason you are here, a companion app with stronger age checks and clearer call billing is the better buy. If you just want a cheap companion that can talk now and then, the yearly plan is fine.
